SwissCyul Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 Hey there,i've been playing around with plane maker in the last days. Now i'm wondering how to add auto thrust to an aircraft. I know that you can add an ATHR button to the panel, but this doesn't work in pay ware aircraft. Some are going to kill me, but I want to add an auto throttle to the FlyJsim 727 and 737... In earlier versions of the aircraft you could just assign a button on your joystick that switches the auto throttle on and off. The plane would just keep the airspeed that was dialled in on the IAS indicator. But now this function is "sadly" gone. How would you get this option back? Is there some specific box you need to check in plane maker under "systems" or is a modification in the planes preferences.txt file necessary? Any help appreciated!! SwissCyul Quote
AngeloM Posted October 24, 2015 Report Posted October 24, 2015 Hi,Of course I can be wrong but I think it's a matter of the plugin that manage the whole system, if the auto throttle system is hard-coded into the plugin then very easily the standard one is disabled and/or fully managed by the code, nothing that someone but the developer can modify. 1 Quote
