Transfer aircraft without reactivating to another system?

First of all:

-I'm not a hacker!!

-I don't want to upload pay ware aircraft to any illegal website!!

-I don't want to redistribute my pay ware aircraft!!

-I payed for all the pay ware aircraft I own!!

Just to avoid any conflict

 

Some of you know, but for those who don't I got a new computer I really have tons of pay ware aircraft and they all need to be activated with a code (of course... ). I was on a Mac and now I'm on Windows 8. Is there a way to transfer these aircraft and my pref's from my Mac X plane system to my newly installed copy on my Windows 8 machine? I'm really not in the mood to re-activate over 20 aircraft...

Can I just copy the preference files and replace the default ones on the new computer?

I've found the preference trick sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. Really hit and miss though.
