Hi everybody

I am working on a SSJ100 with Blender 27 and got some problem with the animation of the front gear door. In particular this gear door consist of two parts - the rear part stays open as long as the gear is down, the front part opens only when the front gear is being lowered/retracted (as on many modern aircraft).

As the axis of this front part door has quite an angle in relation to the 'Normal' coordinates I use 'custom' transformation in Blender. (workflow: edit mode - selection of an edge (rotation axis of door) - snap cursor to selected - object mode - origin to 3D cursor). When rotating in Blender everthing works and looks fine, whereat, when looking at the real animation in PlaneMaker/XPlane it looks like this door is rotating not around the axis but around one single point and the rotation itself looks like it rotates not on all axis at the same time but like in a row, i.e. first around x-axis, then y-axis, then z-axis. As keyframes I just use 'Rotation'. Prior to rotate the object I applied also object transformation (Ctrl-A).

Does anybody have an idea what's wrong?

Thank you very much up-front for possible help.

Best regards

SHJ
