Will my new computer be good enough?

Soooo.... I recently wanted to fly from Doha to Munich with the FF 777. I tried 5 times and 4 times I had a crash to desktop because of insufficient specs... I then decided to get a new computer that can run X Plane properly  

 

I looked around and the best desktop computer that would fit my needs has the following specs(only listing the important factors):

Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core, 3.8GHz

RAM: 8GB memory DDR3

VRAM: Nividia GTX 960 with 2GB GDDR5

OS: Windows 7 

 

Now my questions:

-Is a Dual Core processor sufficient or should I upgrade to an i5 with 3.3GHz? 

-Is 8GB RAM sufficient or do I need 16GB?

WTF is that?  A Pentium Dual Core with a GTX960? That's just stupid. 

Yes chose the i5-4590, that's a lot faster

8GB RAM can be enough, but for X-Plane 16GB are better. With HD Mesh and other Things you quickly jump over 8GB.

I wondered as well... Personally I already chose the i5, I just wanted to see what other people will say

also ich finde den oben gelinkten Rechner absolute überteuert.

Für solchen Preis kannst Du schon viel leistungstärkeren PC kaufen.

Ich weiß, die Budget ist immer sehr gefragt und diese Hobby kostet nicht wenig Geld, aber wenn wir schon eh Richtung 1000 $/€ reden (bei X-Plane 10 ist es leider eher die untere Grenze) dann würde ich trotzdem bisschen mehr nachgucken. So einzeln Komponenten wie fertiggebauten Rechner.

Mit deinem oben erwähnten Upgrade wäre die Differenz "nur" etwa 200 € und ich denke wenn Du mal sogar selber baust, kommst Du vielleicht mit dem Preis bisschen niedriger.

Danke für deine Tips!! Das Problem liegt nur darin, dass Amazon.de mit extrem hohen Lieferkosten nach Kanada liefert... Ich muss mich nochmals ein bisschen umschauen
