United Continental livery

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but this forum seemed to suit the topic best.

Ever sense the United Continental merger was announced, I was disappointed with the livery. I believed that there could be some better options. Here is the somewhat dull combined livery. I enjoy Continental's livery, but I was hoping for something new and different. I understand that nothing will change and united/continental won't change their minds but lets come up with ideas for better liveries. I saw a few on a great site called aviation-designs.net. Here is the current merger livery:

and here are a couple of ideas that I think suit the airline better:

Feel free to make liveries for planes in x-plane and show them, or make them off of templates or just search the web, lets see what we can do with United and Continental.

I agree wholeheartedly! When I saw United's name on a Continental livery I thought someone was an idiot and didn't know the difference between the two. When I learned it was accurate, I knew who the idiots really were 

Both these new paints are a massive improvement over the current one. I'm looking forward to seeing what others come up with.
