tobbe490 Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Have anybody a suggestion where I can learn how to program a FMS (other than go to a flying school )? I have searched on Youtube but none is good enough, they dont explain in detail what they are doing. Quote
Jose Almeida Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Hi, I would be interested too; I've been using X-FMC for quite a while but there are still things and concepts I don't fully understand. José Quote
mmerelles Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) I do have the 777 worldliner from FF, it has a custom FMC which is incredible powerful and extensively modeled close to the real thing. It has an extensive manual explaining each function from boeing and some features which are not modeled are marked in red. There is also a large base of users having a deep understanding of its capabilities which will also help you just over the 777 forums in case you have any doubts. There are also many youtube videos how to program it. I have also tried other aircraft FMCs and while the information may organized under a different logic, programming flow for entering data may be different as well, it is highly rewarding how easily you can manage it anyway since you already know what you are doing and the terminology.
