blueriver Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 Hi While I am pressing buttons or rotating switches in a overhead panelit annoys me that my mouse pointer keeps incidentally clicking area whereyou engage the volant. Box with little cross in the middle. :-)I can pause a game and then do what I want with buttons, knobs and switchesbut it is dreadful. What is a solution for that ? Thanks Quote
ointment Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 If you are in 3D cockpit mode, make sure you have cinema verite turned off. Cinema verite has a tendency to make it difficult to select switches and knobs. Uncheck the cinema verite in the View menu. Quote
blueriver Posted August 31, 2014 Author Report Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) Hi Thanks for swift answer. Your solution helped with switch, knobs, buttons responsiveness, but what I had in mind was why when I do switches etc steering is activating itself. I attachedimages to describe the problem. Is it solution for that or do I have to work around it? https://www.dropbox.com/s/jkrcfq2f428yenz/747-400%20United_4.png?dl=0https://www.dropbox.com/s/lhq1wch0o2q5tf5/747-400%20United_5.png?dl=0 Edited August 31, 2014 by blueriver Quote
AngeloM Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 Using a joystick or a yoke would be the most easy, fast and practical solution... if you don't/can't the only workaround I'm thinking of is to move the view of the VC before to use an instrument/switch/knob/whatever else in order to keep the white cross far from it, at least this is what I do when I test something on a system which hasn't my controls connected so I have to use the mouse.
