AeroPictor Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 I think PlaneMaker has difficulties with very large liveries like the liveries of the LES SAAB 340. I have not tested with the latest beta…
ointment Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) I think PlaneMaker has difficulties with very large liveries like the liveries of the LES SAAB 340. I have not tested with the latest beta… This is false. Plane-Maker can open any livery you want. However, Laminar has apparently changed the way you open a livery and the manual has not been updated. There is no "Open Livery" option available in the "File" pulldown menu. Simply select "Open" in the "File" menu. Then, when the Open window appears with the list of your aircraft folder, select the aircraft you want to open and then select the livery you want to open. Then click the "Open Aircraft" button at the bottom of the window. It's the same process you would use if you were in X-Plane and selecting which aircraft and livery you want to fly. AeroPictor Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 I am to stand corrected, it helps to be able to check your livery work in Plane Maker before to fire up X-Plane itself. I tested it with 10.30b7 on a larger SAAB340 livery.
