He expanded the screen across 3 monitors using a windowed view (btw that titan of yours should have nvidia surround on board so why u no use full screen??) and if you don't have 3 or more monitors you cant do it any other way, if you have 3 you can enable surround (or AMD equivalent) and have it as a native res.

Quite right, did it with a 50" and 42" LED screens and it worked out fine.  Thinking about making it 3 40"  screens should the trick.
