niebieski Posted June 15, 2014 Report Posted June 15, 2014 Hello, Coming back to simming i've found a lot of new stuff to play with, namely FlyWithLua+RTH, FJS TwinJet & Dreamfoil Bell 407. X-Plane has certainly took a good step forward during the last year!As i've also recently replaced my old monitor with a new, unlike one, i would like to share some screenshots with you. Hope you like them! P.S. In case you're wondering, it's ultrawide 29" (21:9 aspect ratio, 2560x1080) screen. ^^ Love these cockpit shadows & reflections! ^^ 4 Quote

Flying_pig Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 I actually have managed a wider screenshot then yours This is a 69in 5760x1080 3 screen setup with a 16:4 Aspect Ratio and 130 degree field of viewNow that is widescreen Quote
niebieski Posted July 10, 2014 Author Report Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Now that is widescreen That is multi-monitor It looks great on screenshots and surely can be immersive, but i think i couldn't stand those bezels If i had enough space on my desk i think i would have gone for this monstrous 34" LG 34UM95 screen. I prefer higher resolution over big screen in 1080p (TV etc.). Edited July 10, 2014 by niebieski Quote

I'm now definitely convinced I need to upgrade my GPU. I've been using my 6850 with only 1GB Vram and it simply isn't enough anymore. What PSU do you have? Quote

Should be enough to satisfy X-Plane's need for VRAM PSU is beQuiet Dark Power Pro 850W - if i recall correctly. Edited July 10, 2014 by niebieski 1 Quote
