He didn't describe the nature of the analysis. But he said it made it clear that the plane's last position was in the middle of the remote southern Indian Ocean, "far from any possible landing sites." etc. etc. click link for more. LionKing Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 There's still no word "crash" in their report. Could you please stop speculating unless we hear the final report..? Quote
sqrt(-1) Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Until there are "parts in hand" confrmed to be of MH370, this is still speculation. Quote
eaglewing7 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Odds are, the aircraft crashed, it was fairly obvious from day one, the question though is where? Until their is wreckage in hand, and it can be confirmed that it is from MH370, as others have said, this is speculation. I can agree though, that it was more than likely time for the PM of Malaysia to make such an announcement, because at this point, there really wasn't a lot of hope of finding any survivors... Quote

I respectfully and vehemently disagree... It's still incredibly irresponsible of the Malaysian PM to make such an announcement without concrete evidence in hand.
