BAe146 Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 I am having problems with xplane and the crj 200, if I try to load another aircraft from the xplane aircraft library xplane crashes. I run xplane again the crj uto loads as the default aircraft flies normally till I try to fly another aircraft and crashes again. I have taken the crj out of the library and all works normally with being able to load any aircraft and fly them, I have also tried to disable the crj avionics plugin but that causes it to crash as well, any answers suggestion welcome! Mike Hotel Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 XP9 oder XP10? Settings of XP might play a major role in CTDs (crash to desktop), too. Standard procedure: start with no plug-ins, standard settings and try again. Add plug-ins and raise settings step by step. Painful, but a working way to get going. Quote
BAe146 Posted March 15, 2014 Author Report Posted March 15, 2014 Thanks Mike Hotel,I have tried to unplug but they plug them selves back in when I reboot xplane.Seems all the plugins are working ok, its definitely got something to do with the crj avionics plugin, with the crj out of the library all other aircraft to work. Just as well I fly for real so I don't have to bother about these glitches to much.BAe146 Quote
BAe146 Posted March 15, 2014 Author Report Posted March 15, 2014 Sorry didn't read your post properly, its xplane 10 global. Quote
Mike Hotel Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 The CRJ takes a bit more computing power than other aircraft - did you lower your settings to standard, too? I assume that you have the latest version of the CRJ. If the CRJ alone gives you trouble, did you remove all other aircraft and just run XP with the CRJ? Regarding the plug-ins, I was talking about the plugs you extend XP10 with. Quote
BAe146 Posted March 15, 2014 Author Report Posted March 15, 2014 Your comments make sense re computing power and lowering rendering settings, I have had a better day with it today, and yes it is the latest version of the CRJ. I'll take that into account when I'm using the Crj from now on, its a very well done aircraft as I use it for IFR practise and flying RNAV approaches. Thanks for your help much appreciated, I may have some more questions in the future, cheersFrom down under. Quote
