According to wiki, SAA currently has no fewer than seventeen A340s. And it may not have been that this aircraft flew to the US directly from SA, as SAA serves 37 international cities. Ah yes, i'm quite familiar with scenarios like this, they happen at airports where the general level of security at airports is lower. Typically, a person or people fleeing their country will climb into the gear wells and die from exposure or hypoxia. If memory serves, a similar scenario took place on a flight to london not long ago. Quote

Typically, a person or people fleeing their country will climb into the gear wells and die from exposure or hypoxia. If memory serves, a similar scenario took place on a flight to london not long ago.
