Helicopter questions

Hi! I'm new X-PLANE10 owner, I'm a bit confused when using it first time. At first I calibrated  Saitek X52 Controller and then started to fly with plane, I'm pushed  throttle full and GO, after tough down I pulled throttle idle revs. as I normally do, when using FSX Acceleration simulator.

The problem is: When started to fly with helicopter and pushed throttle level a bit it respond immediately max power!!! causing crash because I can't control copter.

Why throttle is using reverse variation, I put tab into reverse box, then plane throttle use reverse one. How to solve this.

When I'm  seeing that crash will happend, how can I quickly abort flight and start it again from beginning.

 

When using FSX Acceleration, I using "rotating" camera view , using joystick hat button on it, it's very handy, for example when "travel" in cockpit, connect switches etc.

Is it possible to take this variation on use.

Hi Ben! Thanks you answer. My Saitek X52 throttle lever is equipped with small slider too, I'm using it as a throttle with planes and I'm using throttle lever as a collective with helicopter, two in one.

As we know helicopter is hard to handle, so does it any help, if I buy Saitek Pro Flight rudder pedal set. Regards Pertti
