Hi TorqueSim team and community,

I'm flying the SR20 in a training context and I noticed the current model doesn't model the performance impact of wheel fairing removal.

According to the SR20 POH, the following corrections apply:

  • Nose wheel pant/fairing removed only: −10 KTAS cruise speed, −5% range
  • Nose + main wheel pants/fairings removed: −10% KTAS cruise speed, −15% range

It would be great to have an option to simulate the aircraft with fairings removed, with the above performance penalties applied accordingly. Without this, there is a 20 knots gap between the cruise speed I'm learning and the one we get in X-Plane !

Otherwise, could anyone think of a trick to adapt the performances of the aircraft, without the need for an official feature ?

Thanks for the incredible work on this addon !

Cheers
