Hello!

I am looking forward to purchasing my first rig, but I need to know if I am making a good buy.

This is my parts list:

Thank you,

balle

Looks quite good, but I might opt for a better CPU cooler if you're gonna be doing any overclocking.

Get a Noctua (all of them are pretty good, just keep in mind your ram hight and room in the case) if you want air cooling, or for liquid you could get a number of things but the Corsair H60 and H80i are very nice.

Thank you for the suggestion and answer!

Also, I'd like to know if the case and motherboard look big enough to cram all of my components in to it.

I added a Noctua as well.

Ok yeah that case might be a bit tight, if you want to stay under $100 for the case this one is one of my favs: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146109

Also, the Noctua might interfere with that high-profile ram, and since high-profile doesn't do anything special besides look good, you could actually save some money by buying these, which are the same except with a shorter heatsink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233366&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Let me know if you need any more help!

I really do appreciate your help as a first timer.

Just one more question.. WIth these specs, what performance can I get out of the build with at least High/Medium settings?

Do you think I could run it really fluidly?

Thanks!

I do indeed think it will run quite well, I would expect on high-ish settings to get at least 70fps in rural areas and around 25 in super urban areas like Atlanta. I recently upgraded to a GTX 660Ti and though it's a bit slower than the 760 I am quite satisfied, my CPU is now the main bottleneck.
