Hueyman Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 Hello This is not for X-Plane, but I think I'll find the best experts here ( Ben etc ) This is a problem I have on my other PC, running old Windows XP apps... it recognises my joysticks but assign the axis it wants by default ... and obviously, it isn't the most adapted ! For example, my Saitek Pedals : the program use the left toe brake axis instead of the normal rudder axis for the Rudder axis ... Is there any file to edit in a text editor to manually choose which axis to use ? This is very important please. I tried to open the application's DLL but all seems coded of course and un-readable ... Thanks Quote
Flying_pig Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 What is the program you are trying to run this with?also check the settings menu there should be one for joysticks if the program supports them or try installing the saitek drivers onto your computer as that might fix the issue Quote
Hueyman Posted August 27, 2013 Author Report Posted August 27, 2013 This is a very unknown program. It is a user-created old app ( back in 2005 ), created under Windows XP, it is a motion coordinator simulator that is made for people like me who will attempt the Army Pilot tests. It represent more or less the platform we'll have to deal with during the test. As I said, there isn't any thing to configure in the little program, except " controller 1, controller 2 etc " like Controller 1 for warthog, two for SAitek pedals etc .... but on each one it choose the axis it wants without letting the user choose it !
