X Flyer Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 Hello All, I am new to flight simulation but have a PPL as of Oct 2012. Looking to get started with XP10. I have downloaded the demo at it works great so I will be purchasing the full version soon. I would like to be able to assemble the best of what is available for Florida but feel a little overwelmed at the moment with all that I am trying to learn. Any recommendations on what I should get to enhance the area of Florida. I am open to both Free and Payware. Just trying to get the best setup. Thanks. Quote
whiskeyportal Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 I recommend http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/state-florida-p-45.html and over to x-plane.org and search for Florida. There is a very nice freeware airport package available. I'm sure others will point you to great stuff for FL too. Quote
AnonymousUser68 Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 If you are fly around Florida the Realscenery package from X-Aviation is a must! You may also be interested in: http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Detail?no=347 (I don't have it myself but it looks good). Quote
X Flyer Posted April 5, 2013 Author Report Posted April 5, 2013 The realscenery package for Florida looks really nice. It has a demo so I'll try it out tonight. I'll also check out x-plane.org Thanks for the information Quote
