Japo32 Posted December 29, 2012 Report Posted December 29, 2012 Yes.. the rain fx is not controlled by phisics. That is something imposible to do right now. So I believe that is the most advanced we can have in xplane by now. I think Ben Supnik is working in a particle system as I asked him to do. Included rain fx with wippers clean. Quote
manguras Posted December 29, 2012 Author Report Posted December 29, 2012 thanks and sorry for W reply's Quote
chaps Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 I cannot remember which aircraft it is but one of the pay ware aircraft do have droplets of rain that move horizontally across the side windows and up the main window as you increase speed. Quote
Japo32 Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 The CRJ200.. but I don't like too much the fx I did. Quote
doccruiser Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) Hello Javier, as the flightplan option of the buildin Garmin GNS doesn't work, I'd like to write a XFMC config-file for the Jetstream 32.Therefor I need the performance charts you used for this model, please send me the files.Of course it will be all freeware and for non comertial use. I will send you a copy when it's done and would like to offer it as a free download on x-avation.com, x-fmc.com, or you distribute it directly with the addon. What do you think ? Regards, DocCruiser Edited January 22, 2013 by doccruiser Quote
Japo32 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Yes.. when I have a moment I will send them to you. Quote
cessna729 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) the flightplan option of the buildin Garmin GNS doesn't work,As a work-around, you can get the Built-in X-Plane GPS to load a XP FMS flight plan, by assigning a joy stick or key to sim/FMS/key_load Of course it will be all freeware and for non comertial use. doccruiser Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) Nice idea Cessna, but I'd prefer XFMC - it's simply more confortable :-)I already did one config-file for the Carenado Beechcraft Baron B58.For LNAV it wouldn't be a problem but I need the performance charts for the MCDU performance-page, for correct ETA and fuel prediction. john82088 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Did you make the Baron 58 public or was that just for personal use? I would like a copy if available? Quote
doccruiser Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 Hello Guys, I've done it !Here is the first version of the XFMC configuration-file.It's the best I could do without the performance charts and in this short time. If someone could tell me the engine type of the Jetstream, that would be great. For details on how to use this file, please read the documentation on http://x-fmc.com . To make the file work you have to rename it to Jetstream32.cfg . Please send me some feedback. Regards, DocCruserJetstream32.txt Quote

cruster Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 Will this work on a mac? Ditto. Also, as an aside anyone care to weigh in on XFMC vs. UFMC? Pros/cons, relative merits? Not for the JS32, though...I have a plugin that loads flight plans into the GPS and that works just great. Quote

doccruiser Posted January 26, 2013 Report Posted January 26, 2013 Hello Javier, the barosetting at the altimeter is IN HG, in Europe the baropress I get from VATSIM is QNH.A QNH Indicator at the altimeter would be realy usefull. What do you think about it ? Further I want to thanl you for this great plane, it's realy fun.My problems with the enginfaliure is gone since I don't exceed RPM, EGT and torque anymore. As usual you were right, all works fine, it was the build-in failure. :-)Please tell me the Vx, Vy and best-rate of climb for the plane.
