Not long ago XPFR published the Caudron type Simoun (hot desert wind) for XP 9 (works swell in XP10 as well)

Great model for the ones who love flying history.

Adding some gloss , normals ( just starting more to follow) and making a paint in high resulution (4046x4096) was a great start of my Christmas-holidays.

Still a lot to do, far from finished yet , just giving a peep.

Very nice, have you seen he has updated the Simoun and made a V10 model now? I have it and love flying it when I want to try something different (hard to when the Dmax blackshape is so wonderful to fly.....).

Cant wait to see what you paint next for this aircraft :)

Thanks for the info.

I was not aware of an XP10 version.

For the texturset its all the same , I am using the XP10 version now.

The lights on the XP9 version look better I think. (not all changes are improvements)

Once again you have managed to take an already good model and make it even better with textures! :)

Looking forward to having this livery in my hangar :)

Again some steps further.
Added some more detail to the exterior normals.
Introduced normals to the interior, after giving the interior other colors (likewise I did on my LED DC3 paints)
Its fun to see what a man with brushes can do.

Hello Leen,

It's really amazing what you achieve with your paints and normals.

Looks great with all the details added on the outside and especially in the cockpit.

Looking forward for further steps - and much more for the finished one.

Greetings

For those who want to do an engine-testrun and look for oil-leaks.

OR just want to admire the extreme well modeled 3D engine of this model.
This "In-maintenance-livery"   will be included in the livery-package too.

What a great idea!

you're always bringing something new and unespected with your liveries.

Really looks great with all the fine detail

and i'm very excited to see it on the plane in the sim when it's finished.

Greetings, Andreas

Thanks for your positive response guys.

Doing this on a C150?

I really have no idea.
Not having the actual model makes it impossible anyway.
Besides that this can only be done with a model wich has its engine and the inside of the engine-housing created by its own engine.obj file.
I am afraid not many models will have these features.

This one has and I grabbed the opportunity and did something I never saw before in the sim-scene.

To make this I need the help of the initial maker of the model. (I really hope he reads this.)
Sweet dreams,  nevertheless fun to make a picture like this. (for the album)
