Ubbi Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 If you use the plane in XP 10 the "normal pressure" will be the same as the "red limit". It is a conversion failure.Without changing the numers in Planemaker i have had the Engines burning a few times while only flying with 60 % thorgue... Is it possibile to fix this direkt in the installer files? Regards, Philip Quote
Japo32 Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) If the engines are burning.. is not because torque.. but because EGT... Did you activated the TTL? Is the EGT pointer over 650º more than 3 minutes?.. or the Enrich fuel button on more than 20minutes? or 60% manual start knob more than 5minutes?A overtorque for more than 3 minutes would produce a break of the engines.. not burn of them. please read the manual. The plane is correct in both versions. This plane has to make pilot check the engine instruments frequently. Edited December 17, 2012 by Japo32 Quote
caneman Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 Would the overtorque also cause a contamination ... and associated warning light? (And possible eventual engine fail?). Quote
Japo32 Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 An engine fail yes. Not a burn engine. Torque must not exceed limits for more than 3 minutes. Quote
