First off GREAT aircraft! now to my problem/lack of knowledge.

When cruising and I want to descent to a lower altitude I  first select the lower alt value and arm it, then press "IAS" and start pulling back on the throttle. Is this the correct procedure? (like the CRJ-200) when I do this the plane will not descend and the IAS does not hold. I have also selected "VS" and then use the pitch wheel but that didn't help either.

I must be doing something wrong or out of sequence.

Thanks!

This is the way I did it, but found I had to move the wheel a fair bit to get movement with the aircraft. Have no idea how the real aircraft reacts, but by continuing to move the pitch wheel it worked.

Also you can try the CWS (TCS in the plane) so you can control manually the new pitch.. and then press the V.S. mode when you have your desired pitch attitude.
