Winter time...

Does anyone know if or when there will be winter textures in XP10? In previous versions when the temps went below freezing the ground textures went white and the blowing snow across the runway made it actually look COLD!!

I see that in Version 10 there is blowing snow, but the ground textures are still green.. kinda kills it..

Could you explain this? I never saw this in any version of X-Plane 8 or 9 I used.

If you used winterworld by Tom Curtis then things would go white. But that was an add-on and had to be manually enabled before runtime.

I have not seen white ground in the default x-plane and have been using since XPlane 8.6 or so.....

Exactly. I've used WinterWorld for a long time, but just wondered if there was a little plugin or something that I had missed to enable this auto turn-on feature.
