Hard Drive

Hey guys,

Quick question...I'm building my new PC for XPlane around the I7 Ivy Bridge CPU. I have most of the components bought, my question is the hard drive.

Currently I have X-Plane 10 installed on a 1TB hard drive, no other apps or music/video; just XPlane. If I move that hard drive over to the new PC and install Windows 7 64 bit on its own partition will I have any performance issues?

I should still be able to access XPlane and all the components of windows 7...correct?

Xplane10 should work just fine. I have done this with other software and it usually works just fine I have also done this with FS9 and all that happens is that it reverts back to default settings FSX is another story though and I have found that you will usually have to reinstall . I would recomend that you create a folder called Program Files (x86) on the partition and move the Xplane10 folder into it this way Windows 7 64 identifies it as a 32 bit program .
