Can someone confirm (who uses a mac) that the xaviation CRJ2 that this plane no longer works in beta 3? It worked great in beta 2 with just a few small problems which is not the case now in beta 3.

Perfectly working here. In fact, better than before, because beta 3 solved a special issue of color-matching the CRJ uncovered.

That is interesting because I can see the runway now on 3 of my monitors in the cockpit - I can see right through them. I already converted back to 10.05 - I will wait to see if anyone else has the problem. I just want to confirm that you use a mac?

Yes, I use a MacMini with nvidia graphics (poor old 2010 generation).

You should first clear your preferences.

If the error persists, definitely file a bug report -> http://dev.x-plane.com/support/bugreport.html Don't forget to include your Log.txt and exact hardware specs (preferably dump of "About This Mac" -> "More Info..." -> "System Report" -> File->Export as Text) and a screenshot.

Similar problem here too (Ubuntu), but only happens when time is in between sunset and sunrise.

I also notice that the camera movement (in 3D cockpit, shift + 0) looks a bit weird when this problem happens.

I cleared the preferences and the problen persists, so I will send a bug report too.

That is exactly what I experienced on my mac and the time of the day when it happened.

Anyone else have the problem where x-plane crashes when you have the time of day set a twilight or nighttime? The time I can fly in is when it's bright out.

Just chiming in to say I have GAINED FPS. Don't know exactly how much, but there's certainly not a step backwards.
