s839sd82k Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 (edited) I would like to know what all of the colors are used for in the interface file (interface.png).Is there a description for all of those colors, someplace? In other words... What is each color used for? Text, background, etc.Thanks. Edited June 11, 2012 by s839sd82k Quote
Hampster Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 I have made a few custom interfaces before, the little squares on the creme box = text colours as named + a few background colours... See some of mine to find what backgrounds = which widget and so on, it is all about experimentation! (the four blank boxes on the second row down are important for backgrounds and text boxes)http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=14845http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=13034 Quote
s839sd82k Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) That looks good. I would like to make the fonts larger, too. I guess that can be done by adjusting screen resolution? I'm using the X-Plane demo, last time it took forever to load, so I'm kind of stuck on the experimentation stuff. Waiting for the simulator to arrive on Wednesday. I will compare your work to the original file, to get some clues. According to your readme, I can use the plane editor, that might be quicker. Edited June 12, 2012 by s839sd82k Quote
Hampster Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 Sure, good to see you interested on the demo, good luck! Quote
s839sd82k Posted June 13, 2012 Author Report Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) My regional (Windows XP) version gets here tomorrow or day after. I have been messing with the configuration file all day. I prefer white text on a black background.(edit 1)Apparently something messed up, we'll get to it later. Edited June 14, 2012 by s839sd82k Quote
