Good afternoon,

i was wondering if there is someone who is using Octavi IFR1 with this beatiful plane?

I saw it online and it could be interesting.

Ciao

Hey

Yes, the Octavi works fine with the Challenger. In fact, I haven’t found any planes it doesn’t work with. I’m not using it much, as I’m using the FMS or the DCP/CCP panel from Avionique Simulation.

Can the knobs in the DCP be control via Octavi IFR1 knobs?  Is it like HoneyComb where there is a software that can be use to bind XP data ref to buttons/knobs?

Hey. The Octavi is programmed to use the buttons you see on the unit, so it can't (as it is) control specific functions that the DCP/CCP would control. There's some overlap, of course, but not that much.

For the DCP/CCP I would look no further than this:

I have one myself (from before the current crowdfunding), and am part of the current crowdfunding of the other stuff, so these days ( one more day!) is a good time to get one to help. It's an awesome unit that will help the workflow in the Challenger + add immense immersion. Besides, it just looks really cool. ;-)
