Sound is on even though it is turned off

Hi,

I noticed when I turn off the sounds via XP menu, the (tested on BN2T G500) sounds are still on. Useful for putting it into background while doing something else with music. I know there is the headset thingy at least. But if you put it into external view, the sounds are back on.

On an unrelated note: Is it normal there are no starter sounds? I see the needles move right after starter engagement, but it's silence, then I introduce fuel and then hear loudly the fuel-being-introduced-startup-sound" then it's silence again for a bit, and then I hear the props mildly roaring to life. I feel like there is room for improvement here but understand if it's not a priority.
