X-Plane 10 MD-80?

Hi all,

Haven't had a chance to download the demo and I'm waiting for the aerosoft release of v10, but I remember hearing on XPFW a while ago that an MD-80 would come as a default aircraft with v10 and that's why work was halted on one of their projects, although I've heard/seen nothing about this, anyone have any info?

Regarding the MD-82, that project was begun by Sergio to demonstrate the capabilities of x-plane’s 2D panel capabilities. To this day I have never seen so extensive a 2D panel and sorting through all the controls…hundreds of them… has been a challenge. As “old” as the work is, it still looks absolutely beautiful and is s testament to just how talented Sergio is. We do plan on finishing up the MD82 but it has found itself somewhat stuck at the “crossroads” of x-plane technology, meaning that we might have to backtrack a bit to get it up to speed. Right now, we’re not real sure where it fits in, but it’s too good to put out to pasture, and just need to get a few other things done first.

I hope that they will have time to work on it. The MD82 is just one of the best aircraft ever, and i can't wait for the 3d pit.
