robP Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Ordered this one yesterday and it has now jumped to being my all time favorite aircraft. Great for bush flying and very versatile in terms of being able to use any waterways that are available.Been spending a *lot* of time flying this aircraft - attached is a screen shot of my SeaMax parked at The Welsh Glacier Landing Strip in the Canadian Rockies addon. Took me a while to find this strip, but it was all good fun! ;DI much prefer bush flying without a GPS, so not fitting one was an inspired choice. A VOR or ADF would have been cool, but I guess the real plane isn't fitted with these.I guess the only thing I'd like to see in any future versions is perhaps an option to select a higher resolution texture model? Not sure how easy or difficult this is to implement though.Looking forward to exploring much of the Canadian Rockies in this unique aircraft.RobPwww.AncientArmies.co.uk Quote
Japo32 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Thanks!!! Always I like when the people are happy with my little birds! About the texture, I don't know. Is the highest resolution inside. 2048x2048 divided in several pieces to make them higher (is like the plane would have a single 4096x4096 texture more or less). To see it full you have to go to rendering options and put the "mega high" or "extreme" or don't remember the "word" texture. The last option in texturing.and the GPS.. Yes I always though is better to switch of the GPS and to look outside, but on the next patch I am going to include one (there is another option on the real plane with this GPS), so if everything is cloudy outside and you are desperate, you can switch in on and fin the closer airfield. But of course on my flighs I won't look at it.good flights! Quote
