Vectoring for RNP approach

Hello.

Been experimenting with flying RNP approaches with the challenger and unlike on the TBM (just activate vectors for final and it will draw a long line you can intercept) I have been unable to intercept the RNP approach on a vector.
When selecting an RNP approach, you can often either select VECTORS or an transition for the RNP approach, but regardless of what I choose here it does not seem to wanna intercept on a heading. Once you select APPR, it also activates NAV that will make the aircraft fly towards the active point in your flightplan.

Is there a trick on this?

Go to the DIR page and select the first point on the approach. Input the approach course into the INTC CRS in the bottom right and then execute the direct. This will display the long line that you can intercept from a heading.
