[External Issue] Freeze and CTD

Hello,

 

I'm experiencing a freeze and CTD in every flight with or without plugins. Happens in flight mostly and rarely on the ground. Cannot pinpoint exactly when and where this occurs.

"2022-02-21 20:06:50 CL650[fdr.c:468]: frame skipped 0-7" or a similar log entry is almost always the last entry on the log before crashing.

Can fly other planes without issues.

 

Steps I have taken before reporting:

1. Reinstall X-Plane 11

2. Reinstall Hot Start Challenger 650

3. Update GPU drivers

4. Revert to old GPU drivers

5. Reduce settings

 

None of these have had any effect. Provided DxDiag in case it helps at all since I'm out of ideas.

 

PS. Same issue affects the TBM-900.

Hello,

Unfortunately without a backtrace at the end of the log there's not much we can gleam from those. 

The "DxDiag" includes lots of "problem signatures" and "fault buckets" so there's your problem I would guess, unfortunately we cannot provide support for that.
