On arrival to KRST, I loaded the ILS Z 31 via RST which includes a hold/procedure turn at MINGO. Approach was flown with AP in LNAV and VPATH.  After crossing MINGO, the aircraft began the teardrop entry/turn back towards the LOC course and APPR/auto transfer was armed once headed back towards the LOC course. LOC was captured and was level at 3000' for GS intercept. Prior to intercepting GS (Approx 10nm from KRST) I experienced a CTD (initial crash was CL650[fmc_subsys_ap_ctl_vnav.c:1255]: assertion "leg != ((void *)0)" failed:).

I attempted to reload into the same spot several times (including with plugins removed), and the state is always able to load, but crashes about 3 seconds after un-pausing once all of the systems have had a chance to load.

Sorry I believe I uploaded my whole CL650 log. Looking at when the crashes started (2/12/22 - 3/4ths of the way down) it shows that I have v1.4r1. I can upload just the relevant parts of the CL650_Log later today if necessary.

You noted in your initial report you were able do replicate the issue, can you provide the steps needed to replicate the issue? If you are unable to replicate the issue try following these directions:

Maybe reproduce was the wrong word - I reloaded the aircraft state immediately before the crash with plugins removed and the crash's still occurs once I reach ~9nm from KRST on the ILS Z. I can give it a try today or tomorrow and see if the same crash occurs again on a fresh flight.

I was able to reproduce the crash at KRST. I started a training mode flight on runway 31, started up, entered a flight plan of KRST to KRST, with the ILS 31Z approach selected via RST. I climbed to 15,000 and then turned back to direct to RST (overflew the VOR on ~170 heading). Descended in LNAV/VPATH with a bottom altitude of 2800' selected. Aircraft crossed MINGO and then began the teardrop hold entry back towards MINGO, reaching 2800' prior to the passing the fix for the second time. APPR mode was selected once within about 90 degrees of the final approach course. CTD occurred again prior to crossing MINGO inbound to R31. I have attached the X-Plane log and the updated CL650 log (shows 2022-02-16 19:18:09 CL650[fmc_subsys_ap_ctl_vnav.c:1255]: assertion "leg != ((void *)0)" failed: which is the same as the original crash).

This is with all plugins removed except Gizmo64, PluginAdmin, XPLM.framework, XPWidgets.framework.
