New Computer Capabilities

Hello All. I just upgraded my computer to the following specs:

Intel i7 2600

AMD Radeon HD 6970 2GB

4GB Ram

650 PSU

And I ran x-plane on the rendering options attached, with Samen's A340, and a detailed KATL imaginesim scenery. Whenever I put objects on totally insane, my fps drops to 19. When it's on default, I get 50++ frames and even up to 100++ in exterior view. Am I overestimating my new computer, or should I be able to run x-plane smoothly with objects on totally insane?

It is the combination of "world detail distance" (default is quite high, try medium) and the "insane"-setting for objects. So yes, you're expecting too much.
