Flight plan was lost on navigational display

By playing around with deleting some waypoint I was able to reestablish NAV by going direct NUBDA, I can't recall the previous good waypoint before the airplane lost the "LNAV" capabilities and began to turn in a circle before I caught it in a heading mode and used that to steer back in the right direction. The cabin monitor shows the approximate time that navigational data was lost. I'm wagering that there is a mismatch between the simbrief flight plan I uploaded with the aircraft MCDU and the internal x-plane airac.
