joeslick112 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 How do you get the auto pilot to work in v1.1? Engaged the yaw dampers, activated the engage auto pilot button after setting the v/s button and the aircraft continues to pitch downward.

joeslick112 Posted July 19, 2011 Author Report Posted July 19, 2011 Ok I clicked on/off the yaw dampers and still can't get the auto pilot to respond/continues to sink.
woweezowee Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 first set your target ALT, then the V/S. Engage V/S (have the fight director already on before take off) after you have at least 100ft above ground, then turn on the Autopilot.

woweezowee Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 try again. it does work like that and as advertised in the manual. and if not, please provide some screenshots of the situation you are in and your autopilot settings.
