Hi all,

I'm seeking help on the oil refill system. Firstly, how do the flight crew know the engine oil quantity and how does the supplied refill work? Also, I am unable to retrieve weather using the datalink. Updated - The system does pull ATIS from the US airports I have tried.

D-ATIS is only available for airports in the USA, there isn't a source of D-ATIS information for the rest of the world. However you can use the terminal wx request, to pick up METAR and TAF for all airports.

The oil quantity is only "full" or "not full". Use the "press to test" then wait to see if it's full or not. When topping up the oil in the engine (left and right via the black knob above the switch panel, look at how much the oil in the sightglass drops - that's how much oil the engine needed.
