MrCane Posted January 10, 2022 Report Posted January 10, 2022 Hi, when flying from Queenstown (NZQN) to Chatham Islands (NZCI) I encountered the IRU's complete failing or glitching out on me, it happened in a small zone between DOPOM and DABAP on the Q854 airway. When this happens, I lose my position and cannot enter heading mode (obv. because it has no idea where I am or my direction). I can use the debug realign tool to get me up and running again but only once I am away from the "glitch zone" I am calling it. I reproduced this flying the other way from NZCI to YMML Now, is this expected behaviour and I am a dumbass who slept through that info in Aviation 102? Or is this a bug that needs solving? Quote

MrCane Posted January 10, 2022 Author Report Posted January 10, 2022 Well the circle indicates a rough area. I didn't test exactly how big it is.. but yeah the triangle got bored and changed shapes. Quote
