Hi there...

I have missing UI elements:

  • When I try open any PID window from the Challenger > Study menu, nothing happens.
  • I can open other pages like the Engine Status and APU status pages.
  • However, in the pages I can open, when I mouse-over any of the statistics, I get no message / description popup box either.

One more thing, bit more of a feature request related to this - are we getting a Hydraulic system study page at all? Or is there a way of investigating the hydraulic systems at a more detailed level than the HYD page.

Thanks!

Hello,

There have no other reports of this happening and the elements you have identified as missing are present for others. I recommend you re-run your installer. Rest assured your liveries and save states will be preserved.

(Re-installed as instructed, no change, but I found what I believe to be a minor bug in the default positioning of pop-up panels).

I have 3 screens, but I run X-Plane on the right-most monitor (monitor number 3) in single-screen mode.

Most panels in the Challenger menu (User Settings / Engine Status / APU Status) will display in the middle of the screen as expected, no matter the monitor I use.

However, I now realize that all the PID panels and some other panels, default to a position that is outside of the fullscreen view on monitor 3, but they do open, I just can't get to them as they're off the fullscreen view. If I switch X-Plane fullscreen view to my middle monitor, (monitor number 2), all the PID panels show as expected. They also show as expected if I put X-Plane into windowed mode.

Is there a config file where I can change the default positioning of the PID panels (and others that are sitting off screen for my set-up), so they have the same positioning as the Engine Status panel?
