herwald Posted December 16, 2021 Report Posted December 16, 2021 Hello, i read in a flight test the following: One button no longer on the display is the yaw damper engagement. The yaw damper function is now automatic, a move intended to align the SR-20/22 product line with the new Vision Jet. At 200ft agl after takeoff the yaw damper automatically activates, whether you are on autopilot or hand-flying. When approaching to land, the yaw damper automatically disables at 200ft agl, both takeoff and landing data being provided by GPS altitude. Quote
herwald Posted December 16, 2021 Author Report Posted December 16, 2021 Sorry, not yet finished. Is this function simulated in the SR22?Thanks for your answer. Regards Herbert Quote
OuterMarker Posted December 16, 2021 Report Posted December 16, 2021 Hi Herbert, TorqueSim have modeled the SR22 Generation 3 built up until 2013. This feature has been added to the real SR22 with Generation 6 in 2017. Cheers Quote
