ARTIK Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Here is the first sign of the unique ' Tru ' project. If you're not completely satisfied with the X-Plane sounds - check this out:https://sound4xplane.wordpress.com/2011/06/17/truwind-for-x-plane-sneak-preview-part-1/https://sound4xplane.wordpress.com/2011/06/17/truwind-for-x-plane-sneak-preview-part-2/regardsarti Quote
FlorianR Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Wow, astonishing! Do you have an ETA? Quote
ARTIK Posted June 17, 2011 Author Report Posted June 17, 2011 Thank you Florian, it's just as smooth&natural as I would like to hear/feel in high quality simulation!I would suggest you to stay updated via RSS on my blog with more information about the release time.Actually the TruWind is linked to the airplane (in this case great An-24) but can be moved to other ACF. I need to model the internal wind now.Best regardsarti Quote
FlorianR Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 You said the sounds of the wind are modeled for the specific aircraft. Would you mind explaining that.Wouldn't the sound of wind be the same for all aircrafts. Also, this is only audio, right? No change in x-Plane's weather model Quote
ARTIK Posted June 18, 2011 Author Report Posted June 18, 2011 The sounds will be universal but the 'Tru' system is started actually with the ACF. Of course it's audio only no change in the X-Plane weather model. The next Tru components will be TruRain, TruHail.Unfortunately TruSnow is not planned;)Best regardsarti Quote
Kesomir Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 it would be better to have the sounds running globally rather than aircraft specific like gizmo does, no? Or is there a likely conflict with other sound plugins? Quote
ARTIK Posted June 18, 2011 Author Report Posted June 18, 2011 It would be better to understand how hopeless is the default 'sound architecure' actually. Believe me I have many wishes... but we didn't get even the basic modern functionality. Quote
