Saw this article on CNN this afternoon. Gives a very neat and interesting timeline of historic aviation events.

Its a nice timeline, having read through it, but it really misses a lot of points along the way, and seem to point out a lot of not to epic things near the end like algae driven planes.

i did like the part in the beginning with the old balloons.
