James Demchuk Posted June 7, 2020 Report Posted June 7, 2020 For me i put on heavy rain on the TBM, but i never got the rain effects on the windshields and windows Quote
Marius_B Posted June 7, 2020 Report Posted June 7, 2020 Hi, If you switch to OpenGL, the rain effects will show and they are so nice! librain does not work yet with Vulkan Quote
James Demchuk Posted June 7, 2020 Author Report Posted June 7, 2020 and is that like an ad don or does it come with eh tbm 900 Quote
Marius_B Posted June 7, 2020 Report Posted June 7, 2020 Hi, In the Graphics settings of the X-Plane, untick this "Use Vulkan driver for faster rendering", restart X-Plane and set a rainy weather Quote
Marius_B Posted June 7, 2020 Report Posted June 7, 2020 Yes, it should be enough! Let's hope that librain will be made compatible with the new graphics engine, the effects are beautiful Quote
Marius_B Posted June 7, 2020 Report Posted June 7, 2020 You're welcome! I am happy that it worked! Unfortunately, without using Vulkan, you lose a few frames per second, but when it is rainy weather, it worths.... Quote
James Demchuk Posted June 8, 2020 Author Report Posted June 8, 2020 actually for some reason, i dont have that option in the menu Quote
James Demchuk Posted June 8, 2020 Author Report Posted June 8, 2020 can you help me please!!!!! Quote
Marius_B Posted June 8, 2020 Report Posted June 8, 2020 It must be in the X-Plane - Settings - Graphics Post your screen I assume that you are using the Beta version of the sim Quote
CaptainHamburguer Posted June 8, 2020 Report Posted June 8, 2020 If you don't have that option, then you're running on OpenGL and you're not on the 11.50 betas Quote
James Demchuk Posted June 8, 2020 Author Report Posted June 8, 2020 i am not running on openGL because the rain effects don't work Quote
James Demchuk Posted June 8, 2020 Author Report Posted June 8, 2020 Does it have anything to do with the visual settings of Xplane11 Quote
Marius_B Posted June 8, 2020 Report Posted June 8, 2020 Hi James, Please send us a print-screen of your Settings - Graphics Also, are you using a beta version or the default version of X-Plane? Check in Settings - General - About and tell us. If you are not using the Beta (so no Vulkan, the default OpenGL should have the librain effects ready, the windshield should look like this in a rainy day Quote
Marius_B Posted June 8, 2020 Report Posted June 8, 2020 Just try to increase the Visual Effects Quote
James Demchuk Posted June 8, 2020 Author Report Posted June 8, 2020 My game version is 11.41 tho Quote
