Dumb question on cockpit

Hi,

 

Sorry, I'm new to aviation so this maybe something stupid to ask, but what is the little flippable rectangle on top of the instrument cluster in the TBM-900?   It looks to be a glass covering 3 rows of 3 led's that are slightly hard to see, but nevertheless go from green to yellow to red occasionally -- I have a few planes (my wife would say quite a few, in fact) but I've not seen the device before and I'm curious what it is.
