TOBS Posted May 10, 2011 Author Report Posted May 10, 2011 Today I also suffered from Stuttering. Fresh x-plane copy, crj in LESA, 30 FPS (but it lasts for nearly 30 minutes, then 19 but that problem must be related to me for sure), LEGS screen showing and stuttering comes to me. Here you have 2 videos, stuttering is low in the video, but annoying in RL. It's something you can live with, but a little annoying.http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v235/bokepacha/?action=view¤t=X-Planemovie_CRJ200_1.mp4http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v235/bokepacha/?action=view¤t=X-Planemovie_CRJ200_2.mp4System specs: Number of cores 4 (max 4) Number of threads 4 (max 4) Name AMD Phenom X4 9600 Codename Agena Specification AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-Core Processor Package Socket AM2+ (940) CPUID F.2.2 Extended CPUID 10.2 Brand ID 11 Core Stepping DR-B2 Technology 65 nm TDP Limit 95 Watts Core Speed 2311.0 MHz Multiplier x FSB 11.5 x 201.0 MHz HT Link speed 1808.6 MHz Stock frequency 2300 MHz Instructions sets MMX (+), 3DNow! bokepacha Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 I went from 29-30 to 20-22I suffer from severe lack of frames but not due to the CRJ. It happens to me since the first day. I use to have 1/4 of the frames others have with the same specs.I'll try ro record a better video because you can barely see the stutter in the videos but is very easy to see in RL
Jack Skieczius Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Interestingly enough, you guys seem to get shutter, but i don't get any BUT i have VERY low framerates on the EFIS displays, like 1 fps. I wonder if this has to do with a driver issue more then anything else.Just my two cents.
pcartier Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 I had the same problem, my FPS are in the 35 -40 range and the outside world was stuttering along but what made the world of difference was getting the FMC off the legs page and setting it on the index page. philipp Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Many posts here have shown the LEGS page of the FMS is the culprit.I have this on my radar. For the time being, I can only advise you to only show the LEGS page when you need to look up information there. @Jack Skieczius:Display refresh rates of 1fps have not been reported by anybody else so far. However, I remember yesterday posting an answer to you about how other plugins using openGL might interfere with the CRJ. I clearly remember posting this as an answer to your question, you should be able to find it.Philipp
bokepacha Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Checked. Same procedure but no LEGS page in sight and no stutter also.
