Javier,

altough there are good framerates I have little very rythmically shuttering - I had something similar when testing the KLN90B the plugin was scanning all the time the huge database which is located in the xp mainfolder like the crj database - and this scanning resulted in shuttering even with high framerates.

I decided to make a new topic cause it seems their are others with similar problems.

Ok, I think this issue is for Phillip. It is hard to have this plane running ok in every computer. Your seems to be ok but the videcard little old (I had it)

I also get this issue - framerate excellent 45-55 fps but a stuttering too...

Hello,

I have the same issue. I did the tutorial flight twice yesterday.

Everything runs fine and smooth until I get close to the departure runway 03 in LESA.

Shortly before lineup a heavy stuttering starts. The frames are between 20 and 30 all the time.

The stuttering gets so heavy, that flying is almost not possible.

I read somwhere in the forums that there might be problems in combination with the Eadt 737. I deleted the 737 yesterday and will try the tutorial again tonight.

My system specs:

Windows 7 Professional 64Bit

CPU: Intel Core2Due E6750 @2,66

GPU: ATI 4870HD 1GB

3GB RAM

X-Plane: 9.67

Plugins: Pilotview, XSquawkbox, XPUIPC

Kind regards

Martin

Do you have the intersections displayed in your FMC? This is causing me some trouble, like you said.

Or do you have the beacon on? I cannot do any night flights with the CRJ because, in the moment it the beacon flashes, i get 0 fps.

While being day, it's not a problem.

All that has shutters are because you have set the LEGs page on showing on the fms? if so.. please show other page. Yes, there are micro shutters on the Legs page that were fixed, but still very very little (on my machine) Of course we pretend to make them better until they disappear, but maybe those for me are veeeery little, in other hardware configurations are high.

So see if showing not on the LEGs page you don't have those shutters. Of course when you need it put the LEGs page.. verify what you have to verify and the back to other page (RADIOS, INDEX.. whatever...)

@floyd and inspired - do you are using KLN90B and is the KLN90B database in your XP folder?

Regards Tom

No, i dont use KLN, furthermore, i have removed all plugins except CRJ-related.

In fact, the problem occur several seconds after i turn battery switch on (no more manipulations till shutters, and everything is ok while cold&dark), and back ok if the avionics plugin is disabled through the plugin menu.

Is this possible - shutters cause the EADT is in the Aircraft Folder of XP??

Hi,

I tried it without the KLN90B files in the XP main folder - nothing changed. Still this shutering with good framerates. Yes during the testphase of KLN90B we discovered that the SASL plugin was scanning the NAVDATA in a loop which caused the rythmically shutter in this case. Meanwhile this problem is solved in the KLN90B.

Ok.. it is better to test to discard x-plane other issues...

It would be nice also if you test it with the minimum programms loaded inside memory. There can be programs below that can be making the calculations crazy and bottleneck.

Hope it works!

Ok.. did you post your system?

If I don't have shutters.. and you have shutters.. and both have the same files.. then HARDWARE MAN! even if it is new.. (or drivers). We will take care of what you got.

inspried2 has posted he is using an AMD Quad core, but not the clock rate so far.

For now, I can only advise you to not display the NAVAIDS in >160nm view on the MFD and stay on the LEGS page not longer than you have to look up something there, while we are doing further measurements with this.

not bad system... I don't know very well the ATI.. I always recommend Nvidia.. becuse I know about some issues with openGL Ati video cards.. but don't know if this can be this case.

Have  you updated drivers? delete from memony programs like antivirus, firewalls... Not put navaids on MFD display.. not LEGS...

Bokepacha has a good computer but he always had problems with xplane (you seems only with the CRJ.. but the CRJ is much more CPU and GPU demanding than others.. so no comparison here possible).

The problem was somewhere in BIOS (could be overclocking). After I reset all settings to default shutters gone away. Now everything is OK, except the fact that i lost about 10 fps as cpu is overclocked no more.

Good for you :-) I do now a new complete installation of xp and will tell what happens - I am not overclocking the CPUs and not the vidoe card. I am using the latest drivers and all availbale updates for the system. After the test I will tell you my specific system.

Today I also suffered from Stuttering. Fresh x-plane copy, crj in LESA, 30 FPS (but it lasts for nearly 30 minutes, then 19 but that problem must be related to me for sure), LEGS screen showing and stuttering comes to me.

Here you have 2 videos, stuttering is low in the video, but annoying in RL. It's something you can live with, but a little annoying.
