Not a bad way to spend an evening...

Spent a good portion of the evening in the sims here.  We have several PA-44 FRASCA static training simulators set up and my instructor has the keys to the room.  So around midnight, after the flightline had gone plenty quiet, a few of us went in for some instrument proficiency and fun.  On the training side, my instructor did 3 approaches and I was able to get 2 in.  In fact, I was able to do a little teaching of my own in coaching my instructor though one of the hardest approaches I've ever flown in real life:

I ended up doing the full ILS procedure at my home airport (KFDK) and the DME/VOR 11R back here into Vero Beach (KVRB).  Its been a while since I've done a DME arc, but it looked pretty solid on the instructor station's screen.  Now I just gotta figure out how to get one of those into my bedroom!
