Zane Greenwald Posted November 2, 2018 Report Posted November 2, 2018 I have downloaded and installed V8 three times now. I cannot get my Avionics to come up. When I switch on Aux BL no motors. Like I said I removed the TBM through your install and reloaded, and also let the install program uninstall and then reinstall. I had the plane flying a few versions ago, but now with the recent updates I cannot. I am following the startup procedures very carefully. I am getting very frustrated at this point. If I can send you something please let me know but I really would like to see what I am doing wrong. I can't afford to spend this kind of money for something I can't use. PLEASE help. Below is my system and attached is my log: Mac OS Mojave V10.14 Model Name: iMac Model Identifier: iMac18,3 Processor Name: Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 4.2 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 4 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 8 MB Memory: 64 GB Boot ROM Version: IM183.0161.B00 SMC Version (system): 2.41f1 Serial Number (system): D25W10FSJ1GQ Hardware UUID: 9F483F1F-1D51-50F1-857A-21187947B172 Log.txt Quote
roggenschrotbrot Posted November 2, 2018 Report Posted November 2, 2018 Did you check your maintenance screen? Starting at line 756 your log lists a lot of broken components for your current airframe - you which you should be able to service. If that doesn't work I'd: a) create a new airframe b) remove the contents of X-Plane 11\Output\TBM900\state - this resets the permanent state of your aircraft to factory standard for a fresh start Quote
cwjohan Posted November 2, 2018 Report Posted November 2, 2018 There is a very large number of errors in your log. Many with scenery and various plugins. But probably the errors causing you to have an unflyable aircraft have to do with "damaged" components in your aircraft. You can repair these by going into the repair hangar (2nd menu item from the top on the left edge of your screen). Look at each type of component and repair every one of them. Each repair costs some imaginary money -- don't worry about the cost. This damage may have occurred during hard landings or by running the engine too hot or over safe RPMs, not following recommended procedures, crashes, even crashes caused by bugs. There is another way to start with a clean aircraft: create a new airframe and run the initial tutorial to initialize the panel (a fix is expected for this before too long). Quote
Zane Greenwald Posted November 2, 2018 Author Report Posted November 2, 2018 Thank you very much for your help. I never thought of checking that. I think I will also dump a lot of that scenery in there. Thanks again Quote
