UH-60 Blackhawk Posted February 9, 2011 Report Share Posted February 9, 2011 Recently, I noticed that all my aircraft have been defaulting to a different map mode on the EFFIS than the straight up Map, it has since changed I believe to APP mode. Don't say get used to it, I have never flown with any other mode on the map, and it feels weird in the cockpit. And yes, certain aircraft don't look tacky with a mode selector, but some do.
