Hi Adoreil. Welcome to the forums.

I'm curious. Are you using X-Plane 11 or X-Plane 12? Also, you might want to note the freeware aircraft is almost 7 years old, without an update.

This is why I don't use most freeware aircraft for X-Plane 11, they are so out of date, flight models have never been updated since Laminar changed the flight physics for the simulator.  I believe it was v11.30 or v11.40 I think it was updated so I never use any aircraft that were never updated after that.

It really sucks because there's so many cool freeware and payware aircraft for X-Plane 11 that were never updated.

Yup. That's true of a lot of freeware and some payware. Nevertheless, there's still freeware that is worth the time and energy to explore. Remember, it's people like us, who develop the freeware and upload it. If you were to create and upload an airplane, you'd be under no obligation to maintain it. Personally, I grateful that I can find some great free stuff.

Yes I understand that you freeware developers make aircraft for free out of your own spare time and I really do appreciate it.  I also  realize you're under no obligation to continue to update to them.  I just think it's sad that there's so many great aircraft out there that were never updated, if they were, I would be flying and enjoying them today.

Heck, there's even a significant amount of payware aircraft that were never updated as well and I think they do have an obligation to update their aircraft.  Like Carenado for example, so many cool planes but they never updated their aircraft flight models after Laminar improved the sim's flight model (Unless you buy REP's for the few that have them).  I feel bad for all the people that spent a lot of money on those planes and never received updates to the aircraft's flight model.

Ditto.  You hit the nail on the head.

For the record, I'm not a developer although I do play around in Python from time to time.
